Daniel

Daniel received Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science from UC San Diego. He grew up in Palos Verdes, and graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. Daniel has tutored students from grades 5-12 in English, Reading, Writing, History, Algebra, and Geometry. He has experience assisting both college-level and high school-level students with writing, including research papers and college essays. Daniel loves engaging with students in order to help them learn critical learning strategies that make school more interesting and applicable to everyday life. He also loves learning about other cultures and languages, as he is fluent in Portuguese and has taught English as a second language to students aged 10-70 in Brazil. He looks forward to earning his credential and teaching high school History in the future.
