Scott is a 2010 graduate from The Colorado College with a Bachelor’s Degree, with distinction, in Romance Languages/International Affairs. His focuses were Spanish and Italian language and literature. Following college, Scott conducted citizenship preparation and English as a Second Language to immigrant and refugee adults at a community learning center in Seattle. He also tutored a middle schooler in Spanish. An interest in immigration law drove Scott to law school and he graduated cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in May 2015. Since then, Scott passed the California Bar exam, worked as a lawyer for 4 years both for the federal government in San Francisco and for a nonprofit organization in Los Angeles. He is excited to return to working in education and is passionate about collaborating with students and those learning languages to achieve academic and personal goals.
