When I was in high school, no one had a tutor; however, nowadays where school demands are high and so many distractions exist, tutoring can benefit all students. University entrance has become much more competitive and class size and rigor has increased. From the student who struggles in school to the average student, tutoring can help students stay organized, learn good study habits such as notetaking, outlining, time management, as well as help students prepare for tests. Tutors can be seen as mentors who address academics as well as life skills. I am interested to hear your thoughts and to know how tutoring has benefited your child or teen. Look forward to hearing from you!
