Rachel grew up in the South Bay and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology as well as her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Pepperdine University in Malibu. Furthermore, she studied at Stanford Graduate School of Business for General Management. Rachel has significant teaching experience in Manhattan Beach and Santa Monica Unified School Districts. She teaches Kindergarten through 8th Grade and specializes in math, reading, writing, and social studies. Rachel’s teaching philosophy is to create bright minds while building exceptional character growth. Being an avid traveler, she speaks 4 different languages: Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and English. Rachel also plays the violin, performing for well-known music halls including New York City’s Carnegie Hall.
