Ana is a bilingual Los Angeles native with over 15 years of experience in education. She acquired an A.A. degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Child Development at West Los Angeles College. Her first experience as a teachers assistant for the LAUSD assured her she had found her calling. Ana is an enthusiastic, detailed and creative individual with a passion for teaching. She enjoys creating a fun nurturing environment that allows children to maximize their developmental years through imagination and play. Working within a classroom for over 10 plus years has granted her the experience needed to to prepare children for their next educational milestone. Ana has worked with children ages 3-5 with a focus on kindergarten readiness. Her specialty includes the introduction of reading through sight words and phonological awareness techniques, as well as common core mathematics. She has implemented and created curriculum geared for the child’s individual needs. Through assessments and observation, Ana is able to create educational goals for each child that will allow them the opportunity to learn and grow within their own capacity. She is vetted through the state of California and has all current immunizations, live scan and CPR certification. She is eager and ready to get back to her life’s passion!
