Colleen has her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from California State University, Fullerton. She also has her multiple subject teaching credential and Master’s degree from National University. Colleen was a substitute teacher for two years working with students from transition kindergarten through sixth grade. She just completed her student teaching in kindergarten and fourth grade classrooms in the Torrance Unified School District. Colleen was a long term substitute teacher for a preschool special education classroom for four months. Through these teaching positions she created interactive lesson plans, activities, and a positive classroom atmosphere. Additionally, work Colleen has worked with children outside the classroom for the City of Fullerton at the Parks and Recreation Department where she organized and coordinated activities. Colleen is comfortable outside of the traditional classroom and has a diverse background with much to offer. When she is not working she enjoys being with her family, playing soccer and cooking. Colleen enjoys teaching while making learning fun and enjoyable for everyone.
