Lea is currently working on her Ph. D in Educational Psychology ( specialization in Instruction & Curriculum). She ultimately seeks to teach graduate level Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Research Methods, Instruction & Curriculum or Special Education courses to psychology majors or master level special education teachers, and small groups of students across the South Bay. Lea has 20 years of experience in teaching students with special needs ( i.e., ASD, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia) as well as general education students in all subjects K-12th grade. She not only teaches the subject matter, she also focuses on how the student learns so he/she will develop positive study habits and study skills. Additionally, Lea has a background and is certified in ABA (applied behavior analysis). Lea has compassion for her students’ differing learning styles and makes sure to engage them academically as well as socially.
